VBR Bias, Quality Prec, and VBR Passes... are they fine at defailt settings?

    Do these need to be changed for any reason? I have the guide for RB, but am looking for a bit more in depth explanation.

    I see that VBR Bias is set right now for a more consistent quality as opposed to giving banwidth or whatever to scenes that need more, and quality prec can give better results in colour blockiness or edge artifact... I get that much. But how does one know when to alter these and by how much?

    Also, I can't find the thread anymore on this board where the number of passes of CCE was discussed, as I am curious as to when there is no more benefit. I seem to recall it being 4 passes?

    I believe you're right about this, but I'm not 100% sure either.

    I did notice some artifacts when I first started using these programs, but I've been using the Undot AVISynth filter and since then I've seen none at all.
