I recently got given some VCDs as a present. I've been trying to play them back on my computer, and have been finding that sometimes the picture goes blocky and the sound corrupts (Very high pitched glitches). This sometimes lasts for a few seconds, sometimes for several minutes. I'm currently using Windows Media and PowerDVD. This happens on two different sources of VCD, so I'm beginning to wonder if there's some software or something I could be downloading to help me. Thanks, Pete Trenchard
This is most likely the encoding off the files which basically means there is very little that would help, also as a general rule, vcd playback is bad!
