Hi everyone. Im pretty new to all this as im more into the audio side of things. But ive been learning fast over the past week or so. Just 1 problem really. Ive downloaded a few boxing fights in mpeg format that i want to put on to a vcd for use in my dvd player.

Now, i can do this but when the tv stretches the picture to full screen it can become unwatchable. Is there any way to stop the full screen stretching and instead have a significantly smaller but far more watchable picture? The clips are of varying quality. The worst clips are around 8 mb per 3 mins of audio/video and the best are around 30 mb per 3 mins of audio/video. The programs i am using to encode and make vcd's are Nero and tmpgEnc12a. Any help will be greatly appreciated and i hope to return the favour 1 day. Thanks for ur time.

Well if you get TMPGEnc, you can use it to make the movie a bit smaller if you use the startup wizard to create vcd. After you load your movie in you will see 3 buttons, one of them is Clip Frame, click it and click on arrange settings.

It will be auto set on full screen but now you can change it around and make it a bit smaller.
