vcd or dvd to vhs

    i live in the uk and want to copy vcd or dvd which are ripped to vhs.. i have a pc with a dvd writer and dvd player. two differnet video players sony and sharp. i also have to different stand alone dvd players alba all region and a normal sony surround sound player. which is the easist way to convert them?? have tryed linking dvd and vhs to a t.v but lines were on the film i guess this is the dreaded macrovision :( any help would be grate thanks scribbla

    Te easiest way would simply to connect a stand alone dvd player to a vcr using a scart lead. That would allow you to copy a vcd you did. You cant use the same method to copy dvd to vhs cause they're encrypted. So convert dvd to vcd first.

    Another way, would be to get a tv card and connect your vcr to it. Now you would be able to copy dvd to vhs using your computer.
