Hi, I am about to burn my first VCD and I have a couple of questions :
    a) what is the difference between VCD and SVCD ?
    b) can I use a CDRW to test ? Can I leave the finalize option turned off (nero) ?
    b) one of the desired usage is to store movies/clips which I usually gather incremetally. Can I add the videos (burning) or should I "pack" them first and burn all together?

    regards.

    1) Read this:

    2) You can (and if your player is Sony, you have to) use CDRW, but I still suggest that if it doesn't work, try CDR after that. And yes, you HAVE TO finalize the CD.

    3) You have to burn everything at once, can't add later on, we're speaking of Mode2/XA VCD here, not data CD. And CDs cost like what, $0.25 a piece?-)
