I'm using Nero as my encoder, and every time I encode a movie to VCD it redimensions the screen to "full size" when I play it. ie., a widescreen movie will now fit the entire screen and the movie is "compressed horizontally" (everything is thinner). How would I be able to play it in the original widescreen format?

assuen first of all I wouldn't use nero to encode my movies It does such a bad job compared
to other Encoders. I would try using Tmpgenc or CCE SP 2.5, then use nero to burn your Vcd.

i think if u right click the file it gives u the option! but as was already said to you, nero cant encode simple as that so use a good encoder!
