downloaded some Japanese anime AVI files and convert them in mpeg using EO VIDEO, then I use Nero Express to burn it as a VCD. It's playing fine on computer, however, when I play it on a DVD machine, I noticed that the bottom and the top part had been trimmed off a little bit. The subtitle of the anime being chopped out 70%.

The AVI file is in 640x480,
    I tried the followings:
1/ convert them in PAL (352x288) and burn as PAL VCD

2/ convert them in NTSC(352x240) and burn as NTSC VCD

3/ play around with my TVs and machines, change them to the according PAL/NTSC system

No matter how I try, the subtitle is still the same, being chopped on a standalone machine, playing fine on my computer.

Does anyone what's going on with my VCDs?
    Please help!!

Is the actual file itself stretched on the VCD?? like does the avi file have borders?
