I have The latest NERO 6.6.0.13 and have been burning my TV shows for over a year, with no issues. They are always perfect until this week when the last 3 disks I have burnt have had sound issues. The sound gets out of sync very early into it and worsens by the end, being almost 2 seconds out. I have changed no settings nor have I altered the way I burn. Smart encoding is not enabled. The file format that I am usually burning is AVI. The files play fine in all my media players with NO sound errors. The error is not occurring until the disk is burnt. And for interest sake this error occurs when played on my PC and my DVD player. Here’s hoping you are able to offer a suggestion or two as to what this new, extremely annoying problem is. this is usually down to errors in the files you are trying to burn, there are some tools out there that may been able to fix the problem in the original file not sure which ones tho and when using tools such as these you may have to result to removing certain frames that have errors. the errors are often not noticed in the original file the problem comes when the file is converted to another type ( vcd or dvd). sorry i couldnt help you further.
I had a good program for the problem you mentioned "All media fixer"...It takes a while to scan the whole file, but whenever i had sync issues in the past, this little program saved the day. Sorry i cant provide you with a link to the program, but google will help
just giving all media fixer a try, do you by any chance know if it will fix medie when it is unregistered,
