can anyone please help,i already familiar with the process of extracting vide from a dvd and rejoining them to mepg-2 for dvd burning.but im haven a problem is learning how to extract video from a vcd to megpeg-2 for dvd burning, any help would be greatly apreciated..thanks
Video-CD is Mpeg1 but you can still Put it on to DVD as Long as you resample the audio to 48000hz... To extract the Mpeg1 file off of the VCD Disk you can simply navigate to the VCD Disk and go into the "MpegAV" folder and Copy the "AVSEQ01.DAT" file to your Desktop and then rename it to .mpg, Or you can use something like ISO Buster or VCDEasy to extract the Mpeg file off of the Disk.... After you have the Mpeg1 file on your PC you have to De_multiplex the Mpeg1 file into seperate audio and Video files ,Then you take the audio file and Re-sample it to 48000HZ and then author the audio and Video files to DVD useing something like "Tmpgenc DVD Author"...
