vcd to dvd

    Hi,

    I have a couple of vcd movies on disk and I would like to know how to convert them, so that I can play them on my dvd player.
    Can someone help me please?

    hi

    extract the file from the mpeg folder the file inside then use divxtodvd to convert to files you can burn

    but be warned vcd to dvd quailty aint good!

    a brand new vhs tape is good like vcd, but once converted its 2 losses of quailty!

    i read this post and it worked for me but i have 2 disk 1 with half of thd movie and the other with the other half say i convert both of them with divxtodvd i get to seperate AVSEQ01 folders how do i make it so i can get both of them into that folder so that i can use dvd shrink or something to burn them to 1 dvd

    hi

    firstly you should of loaded both files at the same time then it would jion them to 1 film!

    but as you have 2 folders done now use dvd shrink on re-author mode loacate the folder1 and load then locate folder 2 and load then hit backup!!!

    thanks for the fast response. we need responses this fast
    i will do that didn't even think of that thanks a lot o btw since these files are on 2 sperate disk do i need to download the 2 files to the hard drive then drop them in the divxtodvd them go about with dvd shrink ?

    is this why i'm the newbie and your the addict ? hehe

    you could take them from dvdr but i would place them on hard drive as encoding will go faster!
