Firstly you need a dvd player to play the vcd off. Then you need a vcr to record. I recommend using a scart lead to connect from the dvd to the vcr

    1. Make sure that the scart lead is connecting from the output connection on the dvd to the input connection on the vcr! Input and output will be clearly stated or should be anyway!

    2. Connect your vhs to the tv. If you have a second scart lead then connect from the output on the vcr to the tv. The channel for this connection on a tv is AV1 usually.

    3. Now you need to change the channel on the vcr. You might need to read some of your vcr's documentation to find out the right but usually when you see line 1 or line 2 they are the scart leads. Play your vcd and search for the channel using the channel buttons on your vcr.

    4. When you find it on the vcr and its displaying fine on the tv then you can put in your blank video and record.

that was kinda rushed so If ya need any extra help don't hesitate to ask!
