Hi, I'm having problems recording the sound when I try to capture video from the VCR to the PC. I connected my VCR to the video capture card (DVD Xpert Maker Video Capture Card/Burn DVD/MPEG 4,2,1) and the audio is connected to Line IN on the soundcard. When I run the software and capture the data everything seems fine i.e. I can see the video and hear the audio. However when I play the new MPEG file on the PC, the video is fine but the audio is from the microphone on the PC. When capturing the data it recorded from the mic and not the VCR. Does anyone know what my problem might be? Thanks!
I know what your talking about just set your recording line to your "line in" instead of MIc ;-) you can select this in your master audio adjustments in the control panel.
