    I successfully encoded my DVD to xvid using Vdub but now I want to merge the Audio and Video. I am using VDubMod because I want the AC3 audio but when I open the video is says

    Warning : Nothing to output Bframe decoder lag

    Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it.

    thanks

    hmm strange but maybe if you remember that the selection should start and end on key frames!

    The problem could be caused by the codec your using to decode your movie. Does the codec your using support the use of B-frames? I would suggest looking for a codec that has that option. LOL Im really only guessing here and i might be way off on my answer but then again maybe im right. Also you might want to scan the movie for bad frames with vdubmod.

    Video---->scan video for errors

    I have already encoded the DVD using xvid release 24/06/2003. The encode went fine in VDub but then when merging the 2 streams in VDubMod it comes up with that problem, even though I'm just using Direct Stream Copy

    Was the codec you used the stable or unstable release?

    OK to rule out any problems with either the codec or the way you encoded the movie, try creating an mp3 audio file and mux it with the movie with virtual dub and see if you still get the same error.
