i have recently downloaded the new v2.5 onto my psp and it comes with an internet browser. my problem is getting my psp to connect online, can anyone help me??
The PSP Requires a Wireless Access Point, Wireless Router or Hot Spot to connect to the internet. If you are missing on of these then that would be your reason. Cue: Enter google. You might want to be a bit more specific on your problem.
i do have a router and the psp seems to be dectecting connection. but once i test the connection or try to use the internet, a messege comes on saying: a connection error has occured. a connection to the access point could not be established. check security settings for the network and try again.
Do you have any Security on the Connection (WEP), If so the PSP will only work with 128bit WEP Security and if your router is using 256bit WEP (and those of you going 256 bit :S I have it so yeah) Your going to have to change it to 128bit. Another thing is your Router Distributing IP Addreses(DHCP) ? If so your Settings should work with Automatic if not your going to have to enter your Routers Settings manually similar to what you would when connecting a PC to the Wireless AP.
