Verbatim discs

    What kind of discs should I buy for burning PS2 discs? Btw I have a fat PS2, Version is 9.

    Verbatim DVD-R ?
    Verbatim DVD+R ?
    Does - or + matter?

    16x ?
    2x ?
    4x ?
    Does speed matter?

    What about these re-writtable (DVD+RW) discs? I heard that read-only discs are better than re-writtable discs for some reason.

    Pls help before i buy the wrong discs.

    with verbs you need to look for MCC.. made in singapore/japan or summat.. decent ritek/ridata will do for ps2 TBH.. regardless of what the media bigots say ;) Fire a PM off to steimy.. he's the ps2 god here and will advise you sensibly.

    I bought Verbatim made from taiwan (dvd decyrpter says the media ID: MCC0004 or something like that).
