Verify Nokia 8800 using IMEI?

    There are quite few different types of Nokia 8800, like made in Finland, Finland parts but assembled in China (Euro t2), Chinese parts and Chinese made, copies and so on. Is there a way to verify a Nokia 8800 is particular model and an authentic Nokia made device?
