version 2.01 to 2.60 , should i do that?

i got version 2.01 and i can't download games and copy to the psp
but is it good to change firmware to 2.6?

 

Firmware 2.6 is really good. you can download video content from the internet and now wma(window Media Audio) Format is now available as long as you dont mind that you cant download and play Illegal games it is great.

 

but how long is it waiting to illegal gaming?

 

Don't, just wait, 2.6 won't really give you anything good, and maybe one day soon we will have a downgrader for 2.5. If we do it means you can play homebrew, and any kind of video file including DivX and Xvid.
