    hi

I have an Ati 9200 SE 128 mb video card that supports shaders ver 1.4 or less -i'm not sure- anyway i got the demo of Onimusha 3 and it didn't run as it needs a card that fully supports Direct x9.0c ... there are also other new games that need shaders ver 2.0 like :-

    Ghost recon advanced war fighter
    Resident evil 4

    Condemned: Criminal Origins Gameplay

now i'm confused , should i upgrade and get a card that supports Direct x 9.c and shaders 3.0 ? and which cards that do that ?
or i should wait till Direct x 10 is out and see if there will be new cards that will make benifit of it ?

and will there be major differences between DX9.0c cards and DX10 cards ? or will be there newer versions of shaders than 3.0 ?

    and thnks in advance

I used some shader mods in order to be able to play Oblivion on my
    old unsupported 9200se.
I imagine if you replaced the shaders and used and injection
program (Such as Titanum3d) you could proably get it running
    on your old card.
As long as it is the shaders and not a T&L problem,
If your card doesnt have T&L the shader fixes wont help.
