vertical lines

    I got these three vertical lines on my laptop, any clues anyone?

    moved to correct forum as not a windows issue. are those lines there all the time or do they appear after a while?

    which place did I get moved to. And yes, they are always there, they are dead annoying too.

    try using an external monitor to see if the lines show up on it or not. if does show up then is the onboard videocard problem, if not then it is the lcd screen that is causing the problem. more then likely it is the lcd screen.
