    Hi all.

Hope someone can help me out here as I'm going nuts!

I'm fairly new to downloading and encoding movies, but have been doing fine up until now. I downloaded a movie last night and it was verticly squashed. Why? I just don't know. Anyway, I've tried pretty much every setting in TMPGenc to try and un-squash it, trouble is, it then squashes it the other way, so I end up with stubby little characters! Lol!

I actualy have another, French version of the film, but it came in 3 files. I was going to replace the French audio track with the English off the squashed movie. I tried fitting all 3 files together in VirtualDub, but at 4gb of saving my computer kindly told me that I can't save more than 4gig's in Fat32! Lovely.

Can anyone give me some idea of where to go from here? You'll probably need some more info from me, but to be honest I just don't know what you'd need!

    Cheers in advance!

You can adjust how the Video Looks in the Frame in the "Clip Frame" settings of Tmpgenc....I personally can not tell you exactly what to do without knowing more about the File or haveing a Sample of the File....Good Luck
