It would seem that if a DVD is turned into rat on an AMD processor, it can not be viewed on a P4 machine. Anyone concer on this?

At first I laughed at this post. But then I realized - this is very similar to a problem Im having.

What makes you suspect this is a case? Im ripping on a Pentium, and no matter what I do it will play back on other Pentium machines, but not on my AMD machine. I didnt think it was this - but if others are seeing something similar - maybe...

I have no idea why. But after a bunch of tests, I am pretty sure its true. Maybe the creator will read this thread and fix it.

Strange. Works fine here so I don't think this is a general problem.

@czhower: Did you try this with different AMD machines?

Yes I have. Anything I do on AMD procs can only be viewed on other AMD's, of its done on a P4 anyone can view it, even AMD's.
