Simple question. I have Nero 7 Ultra Edition. Basically, what I want to do is burn videos I have on my computer so that I can play it on the computer (and maybe on a DVD player). (However, it's okay if I can't play it on the DVD player; I just want to be able to play it on the computer - but if there's a way to play it on a DVD player, that would be neat.) The type of CD I'm burning it onto is DVD+R. Simple enough, what program should I use to do this task? It's just that, well, I'm a teenager... and I'm kind of lost and confused. Thanks!
Run 'Nero Vision', opt to 'Make DVD' > 'DVD Video'. Load/drag each AVI file onto the window - Nero will warn you if you try to put too many on the disk.. Each file will become a separate title on the DVD (unless you choose to use the 'merge' button and make them into one). Proceed to the menu step - each title will have a menu entry (unless you opt for no menu) - proceed to convert and burn to DVD. At the burning step, you may opt to save the output to the hard drive (if you wish to test the output before burning). You should also set the burning speed to the disk at 4x to be sure of a good burn. Your standalone player will have no problem with the DVD+R (if the manual says they are ok to use).
I hope I'm not being stupid by bumping this thread... But thank you very much for the speedy and accurate reply!
