I have all the newest codecs i play dvd rips on WMP all the time. I downloaded running scared DVD rip and i cannot hear the voices but i can hear all the other sounds. Nothing is reported wrong with the release. any ideas? thanks
Not sure if it's relevant, but i remember when i set up a Dolby reciever with my Dad (home theatre system), and the same problem occurred - turns out we had only two speakers at the time, and since it was a 5 - channel soundtrack on the movie that we only got 'background noise' etc. Maybe you should try running the movie in a different sound config (if possible -depends on the rip you dowloaded) such as stereo etc. Just try the different audio tracks if ya can...
