I recently found my old dream cast system, and found it still runs beautifully, and I remember my friends were all able to burn games and play them. I did alot of researching and found the Utopia Boot CD, used Diskjuggler to burn it, tried it on my DC and it just went to the screen where it tries to play music. I read that some DC's aren't able to play backups, but didn't tell me which or how to tell if mine was able or not. My DC is: NTSC | U 2 in circle 670-14081R Made in China SA at bottom left of sticker Can i play backups or is there no hope? Any/All help is appreciated. -Aridnyk
i always found Utopia to be a bit crap. What works very well is the xploder boot cd, i'm sure mine's called 'xploder sampler cd' or something, though have no idea where i got it from as it was a few years ago. It works very well, and plays NTSC games (my machines are PAL). p.s. both my machines play (most) backups fine, the ones they won't play wouldn't have been backed up correctly (i didn't have much success with some downloaded games, probably just bad files). I'll have a look at the exact name of the cd when i'm back home tomorrow.
