I'm having extremely strange problem playing any video on my pc.
When I try to play any video type on winamp, picture is black, only most bright areas are visible as dark red or something like that.
But here comes the best part:
When I open the video file first with wmp 10, and after that with winamp (so both are running, wmp on backround) the picture is normal watching with winamp. Now that's what I call strange.

    Sound is normal.

I hope someone understood the problem, and it would be best, if someone even know how to fix this

btw: I have k-lite codec pack, and i've tried everything with codecs

Maoonma , are you sure you don't have a virse or spyware problem

try running "SmithfraudFix" v2.113 and posting a log file also run "Spysweeper"

Is there any other good spyware scanners? Spysweeper needs subscription if you want to delete spyware. I found few risky files but i can't delete them with spysweeper..

I ran SmithfraudFix, but when I tried to use clean (safe mode), the program crashed.

Had the same problem, came here looking for solution.Got me thinking harder, cause the answers you got did'nt jive.I uninstalled wmplayer secuirty updates, nogo.then i uninstalled Divx-6+,Bingo!.That was the bugger.Video now plays in correct color in Vcl player, wmplayer, also in Easy Splitter.Just about drove me crazy.I will install Divx-6.0,Had no problems with that one.Hope this helps, Pal.

First you hav to uninstall 6.4.go to program files, divx folder the uninstall is there.then you can install 6.1.belive you me. I had 6.4also it has it's good points, but that was a big trade off.It may also show up in control panel uninstall programs.Hang in there

I went to C:\Program Files\DivX folder and found the uninstall stuff, but it says it's 6.1.1. I have no idea what to do :/ ..
Before I formated whole hard drive I had no video problems with k-lite codec pack, and now all this. Maybe service pack 2 would do it? I had it few minutes and whole pc was slow and windows blinds screwed so I uninstalled it..
