    Heres the situation.

I am trying to use a 550 emachine as my Televisions DVD player.

I lost the propriety cable from the video card to the svideo cable. The port on the video card (Nvidia, 32MB, GForce2MX/MX400) is so strange (something like a mouse or keyboard) it's too hard to match.

I took a chance and ordered a VGA to Svideo adaptor off of ebay.

Once I had it hooked up the TV tried to give me a picture cut failed.
I am running XP pro on the emachine.

IS there a OS software issue i need to address before this will work or will it ever work with this cheapass adaptor?

Does anyone know where I can get the original cable that goes from the video card to the Svidio cable?
