Okay, its time to ask an adult..I am in the process of building a website for a client that will feature many video clips of contemporary dance.
These are all about 10 years old and were shot on a VHS camera of doubtful quality, under stage lighting that was barely adequate. The end format is going to be 320 x 240 Flash Video so they can be embedded onto the page without a pop up or external player needed.
I shall capture with my Miglia Directors Cut unit so my source will then be 720x576 AVI. What is the best chain of action here do you think? It won't have to be de-interlaced will it? But it could benefit from some cleaning and of course needs resizing.
Tools I have available are: VirtualDub, TMPGenc 3 Express, Premiere Elements and Macromedia Flash Encoder.
    Any top tips appreciated!
    Thanks

I would use tmpeg and crop the edges a little. Vhs captured usually has fuzz or black bars arround the edge. Then I would just use the tmpeg filter for block noise set to widest. Also since its vhs try sharpening a little. Im not sure if this will help. good luck.
