vhs capture using mercury tv tuner card.

    hi im tryin to get some vhs onto my pc but cant seem to get it to work. i connect the vcr to the tv card usin the rf cable but then when the card searches it cannot find the video channel. am i missing something to do?

    You shouldn"t use a RF Cable to hook up a VCR to the Card..
    You use a RCA Cable to go from the VCR into the RCA/Composite Input on the Card and you will need a Little adapter to go from the Left and Right RCA audio Outputs on the VCR to the "LIne In" input on your Sound Card ,Then you set the Software to Capture from the "Composite" input on the card and you set it up to Capture the audio from the "Line In" port on the Sound Card.....Good Luck
