I have a Panasonic DMR EZ47V DVD/VHS recorder and want to transfer films on videos (home movies of Christmas's and birthdays) on to DVD. I have encountered 2 problems, the first was an error message telling me that the cassette is write-protected (probably because we broke the tabs off so they couldn't be accidentally taped over). I solved this by taping over where I'd removed the tab. Now I get an error telling me that I cannot use one touch copy? I don't know how else to transfer. Hope you can help as the videos are getting on for 18 years old now and the memories they contain are priceless. I really need to transfer them on to DVD.

They also have places where you can take them to that will transfer them to a DVD.Most stores that print photos can do it or will send off to have it done for you.

Thanks for this idea, but the average charge is £15 per video and I have about 20 so would be too expensive.
