hello i have a dvd recorder with hard drive and am wondering do i loose any quality copy my VHS tapes to the hard drive first and then to dvd. or is it better to just copy then straight from vcr to dvd. does it make any difference.
Unless you intend to edit the video I would record it straight to DVD. The tape plays in real time, so why go through the steps twice? Quality won't change.
