VHS to Digital format please read

    I copied one of my VHS tapes to a mini DV tape. I know how to transfer to computer. But know how can I get the VHS tape that I copied to my mini DV to digital format on my computer. Do I need a certain cable or something else. I have the software for my movies.

    How do you hook up your DV cam to the computer? (that's a hint)
    What do you think the D in DV stands for (that's another hint)
