I had the same dilema a couple of years ago so I got myself a "grabber" These come in various forms, such as USB devices and PCI slot(internal). I happened to buy the USB variety, very easy to set up, very easy to use and even came with software for editing, and special effects etc. I'm not saying get this brand or kind, but it may give you a point to start. I bought USB VIDEBUS 2 and the software that was bundled with it goes by the name of Photosuite 3 SE. This model will probably be unavailable now, but I'm sure you'll find something to suite your needs.Cost was $AUD99.00 I couldn't find a pic to show you what they look like(sorry)
