    Hello all techno wizards

I just bought Samsung DVD Recorder & VCR (DVD-VR375).
In this era it allows very easy VHS to DVD copying.

I foolishly though I could copy all the kids VHS (Copyrighted/ Protected).
How can this be done in 2010' and can I use this machine to do it or should I return the machine to Best Buy ($159.00)?

Have seen many posts but all are back to 2007.

Appreciate any "Simple" advise in advance.
I am a novice looking for expert advise.
    Regards
    Claw

Unless your combo has external audio and video connectors for the VCR and recorder part, you cannot.
Some (not all) commercial movie tapes have Macrovision protection.
To remove it you need a cheap-ish 'Video Stabilizer' between the VCR and recorder video paths.
The audio leads connect from VCR to recorder directly.

Almost nothing has changed since 2005.
If anything, less hardware is now available, which is the main issue.
