What hardware is required to convert vhs tapes to dvd on a home PC? Also, what are the software requirements?
You need to get a Dazzle DVCII PCI capture card or simular. Ths allows you to capture video from any anolog souce directly into MPEG2 files, which can then be authored with the software that comes with it. I've been using one for a while now and it works great.It's a bit expensive at about £200 (not sure what hat is in $'s) but its worth every penny. Hope this is of help to ya!
