VHS To DVD using MA

    I trying to convert some of my family's movies from VHS to DVD. I currently working on a mac, What Are the seteps needed to convert.

    I too have this question. You might want to make it "vhs to dvd using mac" I just took a guess on what you meant. I have a pbG4 1.25 and want to transfer 8 hour tapes of japanese wrestling. If I understand correctly since vhs runs a 30 fps then you can fit all 8 hours on dvd. If I new this years ago I'd be done already:mad: This is what they guy from barefeats.com suggested:
    "I use the Directors Cut box from Miglia to connect the VCR or other analogdevices to the Mac. It takes SVideo and sound in. Then you connect it to theMac via the FW400 Port. If you use Final Cut Pro, define the capture deviceas NON CONTROLLABLE. You start the capture and hit play on the VCR."
    Great advice but the price for the Miglia box is a bit steep for me. Maybe not for you- a couple of hundred. 2 or 3 forgot which. good luck.
