ok i have tried surfing the net to find a solutuin to my problem......but to no avail...i want to transfer my vhs tapes to dvd via my pc...it seemed easy..but... i have win tv card installed with tv in dvd rewriter nero ver 6 software problem is i can save file to pc through the win tv software [AVI] But this is not very user friendly...when i try to do it through nero...it plays in the nero window ok...but when i click on 'record' the screen fills with greenlines??and when i playback the file it is the same? is there a very obvious very easy solution to this?? my specs are: 1.7 mhz athlon xp radeon 256 mb vid card 2 x 40 ghz hdd soundblaster audio card dvd rewriter 512 mb ram many thanks daz
Nothing wrong with saving as .avi, if quality settings are high enough. You just need to encode the avi to mpeg-2 using a good encoder, then author it to dvdr. Nero is NOT a good choice for this.
