VHS To DVD

    Exactly what is the process of tansferring my existing VHS tapes to DVD? Could anyone please help me with this. Once you transfer VHS to the computer what file is it (AVI?) Please help. Thanks

    I'm only 90% there on backing up VHS to DVD just working on 2 channel audio.You need a capture card that has no macrovison warning so work some don't forget about the little box converters at CompUSA they all have some warning about backing up commercial VHS.VHS machine will be phased out at the end of the year.But most pawn shops have them.
