I have several movies on VHS that I have purchased over the years and I would like to burn them to DVD. I can copy them to the HD but haven't had any luck burning from there. Any help will be appreciated.
leftround, If you haven't already check out the forum video capturing from analog sources. There appear to may answers to many questions that are taken care of there. I used it earlier this year for a different type of problem and got my solution there. Sorry I can't help more but I use a DVR from VHS and it captures and converts directly to DVD.
I take it you have used a capture card to capture the VHS video onto your hard drive in .AVI or .MPEG format... Now there are a number of programs you can use to transfer them onto disc... It's just a question of what features you require in the process... Both ConvertXtoDVD And Nero Vision (found in Nero Ultra Edition) are Great Programs... VSO's ConvertXtoDVD is Cheaper and has a Super Simple User Friendly interface but on the other hand Nero Vision offers way more options such as Custom Menu's, Animated Chapter Buttons, and the Ultra Edition has everything you might ever need in an encoding to ripping aspect (well almost)... You can decide for yourself what your needs are by trying them both...
