I have tried several times unsuccessfully to capture a 90 minute VHS tape to various formats (mpeg, avi, vcr). All attempts appear to capture correctly as it plays fine through the computer, but when I play back the captured video the first few frames play normally and then it gets stuck/starts looping, while the audio continues playing normally. There is also a small strip on top where I can kinda see the video playing normally behind the stuck frame. I am using an ATI Radeon All in Wonder 7500 card with current drivers and the ATI Multimedia Center version 8.8. I have also tried capturing with Roxio Easy Cd and DVD Creator 6 with the same results. I have captured several 60 and 45 minute tapes with no problems.

The Problem probably isn"t a problem with the captured files but a Problem with the Software you are Playing back the Video on ...
Generally Media Player isn"t the bast for playback especially with Mpeg2 files...Try installing something like PowerDVD or WinDVD to see if they can Play the files properly...
You can also try loading the Captured files into Virtual-Dub and see if the Look Normal in the Virtual-Dub window...
