Vid Card, Which Is Better??? NVIDIA or ATI Radeon

    I ordered an ATI Radeon 9250 256MB PCI Card, but the place I got it doesnt sell them anymore, so I got an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256MB DDR PCI without notice. Are they close to being the same or did I get shafted???

    The FX5500 is better. Not saying that its gonna play the new games great...but better than the 9250. Especially with a PCI interface. You should invest in an AGP or PCIe motherboard.
