Ive been noticing that a number of my mpeg, mpg and possibly avi files have their audio & vido between fraction of a second to 3 seconds or so out of synch. So Ill see someones lips move, but their words must be travelling through some space / time black hole and coming out some other side, as the audio has a delay up to 3 seconds or so. It seems to usually be the audio which comes after the video, though there may have been some files where audio comes before video? Is there any way to correct this with having to resave the originals all over again?
If the lag is uniform, you may correct with AviFixed (only works with avis): http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVIFixed.htm BUT be sure to back up the original videos first 'cos sometimes these program might backfire.
