    what software is good to edit video taking out scenes that you do not want .ex. i have 3 videos shot in different locations to make a music video & want to fade in parts from the other videos on the time line .also i use tsunami dvd author pro..........it is fairly easy but i want an all in one if i can but do not need to

    Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus, Ulead Media Pro, DVDLab, Ulead 7. There are quite a few. You'll find everybody has their own personal favs. I find Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus to be the most engaging, advanced, convenient and simple to use. They're all pretty powerful proggys, Studio seems to be the most though.

    VideoRedo, particularly if you're using Hauppauge capture card. Also takes care of audio sync issues.
