   I'm using windows media player 9, and during play back of certain viedos the video blacks out and the audio continues. Before the black out all quality is fine. What can i do to stop this black out from happening?

   well if they are avi files, there may be something wrong with them so you should try divfix or avifixed!! Also an alternative player might work better like WinDVD!!
