Hello everybody, I'm fairly new to burning back ups and avi's etc....anyways, I have a Sony Dream System S-Master DVD player and most AVI's I backed up to DVD converted format play perfect but I've had a couple movies that come out in black in white and the screen bounces up and down but the sound is normal. I've downloaded several codecs but it's all the same. I use WinAVI for the conversion process, DVD Shrink for the shrinking and encoding process and DVD Decryptor for the burning process. Does anybody have an idea what's going on? I apreciate your co-operation. Thanks!
Also, I've had some movies that when placed in the DVD player they say "Playback Prohibited Due To Area Limitations" but I know they were converted to NTSC win WinAVI and "Region Free" was checked on in DVD Shrink and Decryptor. What's missing here?
I think I may have found a resolution. I scanned the file with AviCodec and it displays the file as 25 fps telling me it's PAL. Hmm...
