Ok I author a DVD, has 5 different parts, or lets says 5 different files. Then menus shows the five files and you can select and move about the menu ok. After I author, on my PC, I go to the Video_TS folder. I select the first IFO, it comes up in GOM to play but no audio. I then select the first VOB file and it comes up in GOM and I have both Video and Audio. I burn the ISO to a disk and try it out on my DVD player and I select from the menu and it plays and I have audio and video. So my question is, is it GOM that I am using to play back videos etc that is the problem or is this normal? If it is GOM what is out there that is better, Classic Media player, VLC(I think thats it)?
    Thanks

I have heard nothing but complaints about GOM. It can't hurt to give Media Player Classic a try.

OK I tried Media Player Classic, it does the same thing. I found something else out, if I author using DVDAuthor, in Gom and MPC the IFO acts the same. Also when playing back, the video and audio skip ahead, in Nero Showtime this does not happen and it plays ok from the IFO also. Now if I author using MuxMan, the video and audio do not skip when playing from the VOB file but still only have video when selecting from the IFO file. Any ideals?
