video but no sound...optoma projector

    HI, i just recently bought a projector. Optoma EzPro Projector H27, to be exact. I can hook up my xbox but i only get video and no sound. the projector itself does not have a audio output. Is there any other way i can hook up sound to it without too much of a hassle. Maybe a converter or something. I really need sound and i need help

    Easy Peasy.

    What cable is connecting the xbox to projector?

    Xbox has no audio out sockets so you need to use a composite or s-video cable (anything which has one video plug and a red (left) and white (right) audio output.

    Even most of the scart cables have a breakout box half way up the cable with audio outputs so you can use these.

    You ned to get a stereo phono cable and an adapter to connect this to you xbox cable 9as it will not be long enough to connect to both your projector and a hifi at the same time)

    then connect to a hifi or amp through an aux input.
