Okay, after much frustration I finally was able to make a BD disc playable on a stand alone player, yeah, BUT there was no volume, any one have any idea why this might be I tsMuxed it taking out all foreign subtitles, leaving the true AC3 and all eng. subtitles and of course the H.264, so I am curious what step I missed. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance gem.
I am also a newb at this. But after a grueling 3 days of researching this and burning many copies, luckily on BD-RE, I have found that tsMuxer does not support True-HD audio. I seem to be doing the exact same thing you are. I am continuing my research and try & burn method. I will let you know what I come up with.
Thanks for the reply whtKntGTP, yeah, I have also been using BD-RE thank god other wise it could get costly, I'm still researching this issue as well, if I come across any useful info I will pass it along as well.
Well, maybe you can help me figure one last thing out(try this out on your system)... As you said that did the trick. It now plays on the standalone. New problem for me is that now I have no audio when I play it on the pc blu-ray player via PowerDVD. Do you mind trying yours out? Thanks for the help.
WhiteKnight,I can't, I don't have the the BD software for playback on my pc, I just use the pc to create backup to play on my stand alone be it standard dvd or now BD,so I am sorry WhiteKnight I can,t help you out here.I can see the folders on the media but that's about it. gem.
