I try to capture my vhs tapes using arcsoft showbiz2. But some of them skip in and out and go into a blur! Is there a better software to download and use to capture video?

yes there is better software... although there is not one program that does everything. for starters, what file format are you capturing to, .avi or .mpg?? and how much $$ do you want to spend??

actually there are a lot of previous threads on this forum that will help you. anyway, the more research you do, the better off you will be in the long run...

If you are Captureing to AVI I suggest something like IU_VCR or Virtual-VCR But if you were captureing to Uncompressed AVI then that is about the best Quality you can get...
For Mpeg capture I suggest "Intervideo WinDVR 3.0" or Sonic MyDVD which also captures fairly good Mpeg files but you need a fairly fast PC like 2.0ghz...
