Do you have the audio cable from the camcorder plugged into the line in on your soundcard. If thats not it you may have to go to your sound settings in windows and make sure the line in is not muted and the volume
    bar is up.

It should be on the outside. Sometimes its next to the mic and headphone.

    Hello

I have same problem with beeli, i own a sony DCR-TRV22 model.
i tried capturing video using Pixela Image Mixer 1.5 for Sony
(provided in the package) via USB cable. So far, I succeded downloading the video but no audio.

i already checked my sound card setting (C-media wave device)and found to be OK, i think =)and set the Image mixer audio capture device to "c-media wave device" but still i get same result.
The only thing left now is to check if the software "Image Mixer"
is compatible with my sound card, which i dont know how.

im planning to upgrade using firewire, but i want to know if theres something i missed with the setting i mentioned above.
Will the firewire device can solve my problem ?

    Hope you could help me.
    Thanks in advance
