I found a Diablotek Nvidia 6600 with 512mb of ddr2 RAM PCIe and SLI capabilities for $131.99. Would it make more sense to buy 2 of these cards and run them tandem SLI or buy one of the pricer 6600GT cards and run it single? Most of the pricier cards only seem to want to be packaged with 128mb although the memory is DDR3. I'm confused because I've never even seen 512mb of RAM on a video card before. Is Diablotek a crappy brand or something? It doesn't seem like I should be able to buy it that cheap unless they are trying to phase them out or something. If that's the only deal, then I'm there because I'm trying to build my system with the cheapest high quality products I can find. Any help would be appreciated?

To be honest if you have an Sli mobo you would be better off getting a single 6800GT\ultra (256mb)as it will outperform a pair of sli'd 6600's even with 512mb (kinda rare you got a link for it)..

The link is too long...my webrowser doesn't show it all. It's on tigerdirect. Just go to video cards and then PCI cards. It's the Diablotek one. Would this not be a good budget choice though? It seems that 2 512mb cards working at the same time would make a pretty good workhorse of a computer.
